Toxic Box Office Collection: Yash Starrer Nears ₹250 Crore India Net

Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups continues its theatrical run, with the film now approaching the ₹250 crore mark in India despite a slowdown in daily collections.

According to the latest box-office reports, Toxic has collected around ₹243–244 crore net in India by Day 12. Its worldwide gross has reached approximately ₹334.5 crore, putting the film within reach of the ₹350 crore worldwide milestone.

Strong Opening

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic opened strongly at the box office. The film recorded an estimated ₹101.10 crore India net on its opening day, giving it one of the year's biggest starts.

The film stars Yash alongside Kiara Advani and Nayanthara and was released across multiple languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

Its strong opening was driven by Yash's popularity following the success of KGF: Chapter 2 and significant anticipation surrounding his return to the big screen.

Collections Slow After Opening Week

Although Toxic started with a huge opening, its daily collections declined considerably during the weekdays.

The film crossed the ₹200 crore India-net mark during its first week, but its pace slowed during the second week. A second-weekend boost helped the movie recover some momentum.

The latest reports show that the movie is now around ₹243 crore India net, leaving it roughly ₹6–7 crore short of the ₹250 crore milestone.

Worldwide Performance

Overseas markets have also contributed significantly to the film's overall performance.

The latest reported worldwide gross stands at approximately ₹334.5 crore. The movie therefore needs roughly ₹15.5 crore more to reach the ₹350 crore worldwide milestone.

Another box-office tracker reported approximately ₹44 crore from overseas markets by the end of its 11th day, with the worldwide total reaching ₹334.5 crore.

Competition at the Box Office

Toxic is facing increased competition as new films enter theatres.

Mirzapur: The Movie has opened strongly, while Hanuman Ansh has also been performing well in its theatrical run. The increased competition has put additional pressure on Toxic's screen count and daily collections.

The film's ability to maintain collections during the coming days will determine whether it can comfortably cross the ₹250 crore India-net mark and move toward ₹350 crore worldwide.

Can Toxic Reach ₹350 Crore Worldwide?

With the worldwide collection already around ₹334.5 crore, Toxic is approximately ₹15.5 crore away from the ₹350 crore milestone.

The film's strong opening and sizeable international collection have given it a substantial theatrical total. However, the recent slowdown means its final worldwide figure will depend heavily on how well it holds during the remainder of its second week.

For Yash, the film nevertheless represents another major theatrical release following the enormous success of KGF: Chapter 2.
